Vehicle Theft On The Rise

Nobody appreciates a cold car during the winter months. If astronomical gas prices aren’t enough to keep you from running your car for an extra 15 minutes, twice daily, maybe this warning from the Greeley police will make the difference. Simply stated, Greeley police tell us “Don’t leave a running vehicle unattended.” Why? Well according to their post on social media, as the weather gets colder, the number of car thefts increase. As a matter of fact, on Tuesday, Greeley police reported 12 people had their vehicle stolen within a 24 hour period.
