Two alcohol proposals fail, a third remains too close to call

A ballot measure that would allow grocery and convenience stores that sell beer to also sell wine remains too close to call. Two other measures dealing with alcohol also failed to pass. One proposition would have allowed for alcohol delivery via third-party services like GrubHub. The failure also means restaurant’s and bar’s permanent ability to sell take-out cocktails could be in jeopardy. The other proposition would have allowed liquor stores to expand in a big way.
