Report: CO recycling rate below national average

Colorado received a failing grade on the latest recycling report. The State of Recycling and Composting report from Eco-Cycle and the Colorado Public Interest Research Group shows the state’s recycling fate remains stagnant at 16% — that’s half the national average. That means 84% of the waste produced in Colorado goes right into landfills.
