PSD students will start school before Labor Day

Students in the Poudre School District won’t be starting school after Labor Day. The Board of Education unanimously approved the school calendar which set the first day of school as August 17. The push to start school after Labor Day came over increasingly hot temperatures in mid-August and a lack of air conditioning in schools.
