Minimum wage to remain flat in Fort Collins

Minimum wage in Fort Collins won’t be rising. After months of talking about it, the Coloradoan reports, city council voted to keep minimum wage in line with the states at $12.56 an hour. Discussion had centered around raising minimum wage to as much as $19 an hour. In its decision, the lawmaking body cited a lack of community engagement with employers on the issue as well as inflation. Mayor Pro Tem Emily Francis said they’ll do additional outreach before considering the issue again in May. For the full story, visit https://www.coloradoan.com/.
