Weld County officials broke ground at the future site of the Downtown Justice Center, signaling the start of the county’s largest project to date. The Greeley Tribune reports the new justice center is part of the Downtown Civic Campus project in downtown Greeley, where a new Greeley-Evans School District 6 Administration Building and a new Greeley City Hall will also be constructed. This new six-story courthouse will be constructed next to the current courthouse complex and will add several courtrooms to cover the county’s courtroom needs for the next 100 years.
