Democratic incumbents secure 2nd terms in several statewide offices

Incumbent Phil Weiser wins his re-election bid for his second term as attorney general. He beat Republican challenger John Kellner, the district attorney for the 18th Judicial District. Weiser garnered at least 54% of the vote. He was first elected attorney general in 2018.

Also Tuesday, Democratic incumbent Jena Griswold held onto the secretary of state job. She beat GOP challenger Pam Anderson with at least 55% of the vote. She was first elected secretary of state in 2018.

Dave Young, a Democrat, was on place to win his re-election bid as treasurer. He had secured 54% of the vote as of late Tuesday night. The former state represenative, whose district included Greeley, first became treasurer in 2018.
