Telluride man pleads guilty to role in Capitol riot

A Telluride man is likely heading to prison for his role in the Capitol riot. Avery MacCracken, 69, pleaded guilty to a count of obstructing law enforcement during a civil disorder. MacCracken was arrested in December 2021 after Coloradoans saw his image online and reported him to authorities. MacCraken, who will be sentenced in February, is at least the twelfth Coloradoan to face charges tied to the insurrection.
