Investigation reveals Boulder County crash victim tried to take his own life

BOULDER COUNTY, CO – UPDATE – An investigation revealed a 57-year-old man injured in a car crash on Colo. 72 drove off the roadway in an attempt to take his own life. According to reports at patch.com Monday, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said the man was driving at about 140 miles per hour when his Porsche crashed into a large tree and a fence, then rolled up a hill before it caught fire, the sheriff’s office said. He was pulled to safety by some good samaritans.
