A 23-year-old Evans man is facing a felony burglary charge after kicking down an apartment door because he thought someone stole his weed. According to reports at greeleytribune.com Monday, police responded to the break-in early Thursday morning at a residence on 11th Avenue, where the victim, who knew the suspect, told police he came to her apartment to look for a quarter-ounce of marijuana he was missing. The pot perpatrator is due in Weld District Court Oct. 15.
