A frozen attraction favorite is returning to Colorado. Ice Castles will come back to the Centennial State after two years off. It’ll be in a new location this year in Cripple Creek. Ice artisans will start building the intricate immersive experience in late October or early November. The attraction includes ice tunnels, caverns, frozen thrones, towers, slides, and crawl spaces illuminated by color-changing lights inside the ice. Ice Castles will open in late December or early January and remain open through early March, weather-permitting.
