Unemployment Claims Drop Week Over Week

More than 6,100 people in Colorado filed for unemployment benefits for the week ending August 8th. That number shows a drop of 951 claims from the week prior. At the same time, more than 9,000 self employed and gig-workers filed for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance. That number shows an increase of more than 1,400 from the prior week.
