Weld County’s largest energy operator, Occidental Petroleum Corp. posted a loss of more than eight billion dollars last quarter as a result of the global pandemic and resulting stay at home orders. According to the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, Occidental produced 39.4 million barrels of oil last year.
