Half A Dozen More Future Legends Entities File For Bankruptcy

A day after filing a second time for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the managing member of the Future Legends Sports Complex filed individual petitions for each of the remaining six limited liability companies that collectively own the complex. The filing has put a halt to the Weld District Court case in which lenders and subcontractors claim millions in unpaid loans and work. The Greeley Tribune reports Future Legends LLC filed for bankruptcy protection Monday in California, claiming $100 million to $500 million in liabilities. But the California judge assigned to the case issued an order moving the bankruptcy case to Coloradao because the property at the heart of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition was there.
