Greeley Man Handed 20 Years In Attempted Manslaughter Case

A Greeley man was sentenced to over 20 years in prison for shooting into a home he was trying to break into and striking a man’s arm.  The Greeley Tribune reports 28 year old  Guadalupe Balderas was sentenced to 22 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections  during a June 18 sentencing hearing.  A Weld County jury found Balderas guilty of two counts of attempted manslaughter, two counts of harassment, first-degree assault, attempted first-degree burglary, menacing and illegal discharge of a firearm in an April trial.
