A residential treatment program for youth in Fort Collins has shuttered its doors after more than a half-century. Turning Point Center for Youth and Family Development has decided to shift its focus to outpatient behavioral health services, according to a report in the Coloradoan. The center had just seven youths in its residential program-they were transferred to other facilities. The nonprofit has 180 youths in outpatient services in Larimer and Weld counties and plans to get credentialed with insurance and Medicaid to provide intensive services to families in Fort Collins and Greeley.
