The Weld RE-4 School District will host a full-scale emergency response exercise as part of its efforts to keep students and staff safe, according to a district announcement. The Greeley Tribune reports the drill is being conducted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Severance Middle School, 1801 Avery Plaza St., and Severance High School, 1200 Hidden Valley Parkway, in Severance. This exercise will simulate an emergency scenario in real time and will be completed in partnership with the town of Windsor, the town of Severance, Windsor Severance Fire Rescue, Weld County, UCHealth and other area organizations.
