Questions Remain Surrounding Woman’s Abduction Of 3 Year Old In Greeley

A woman walking around the Greeley area Monday denied two neighbors’ offers to help her and the 3-year-old girl she’s now accused of kidnapping. According to the Greeley Tribune, Mariah Martinez, 30, faces charges of second-degree kidnapping and child abuse following her arrest Monday night.  Greeley police got the report that a 3-year-old girl had gone missing at about 6:20 p.m. Monday from the Bears Village Apartments in eastern Greeley.  The girl was reunited with her parents on Monday evening, but police are unsure what time Martinez took the girl. Martinez and the girl were found about 7:45 p.m. Monday.
