The Greeley City Council will continue hearing budget proposals from city departments in an effort to reduce an $18 million budget deficit for 2027 at Tuesday’s council meeting. According to the Greeley Tribune, additionally, the council will consider multifamily tax-exempt housing revenue bonds for several affordable housing programs across the city. City Attorney Stacey Aurzada will present the 2027 budget cuts for the City Attorney’s Office, totaling $617,141. These cuts have been primarily sourced from the elimination of two department positions.
