CPW loses eyes on North Park wolfpack

Colorado Parks and Wildlife now have no eyes on the North Park wolfpack. The last working GPS collar on one of the wolves stopped working on May 13, sparking concern among ranchers, whose cattle have fallen victim to the pack. The GPS collars that use radio frequencies have a lifespan of five years and not only help track the animals, but also help identify where wolves were at the time cattle are killed. The Coloradoan reports CPW has no plans to capture and recollar any wolves from the pack at this time. For the full story, visit https://www.coloradoan.com/.
