A construction truck driver killed in a rollover crash in Gross Reservoir has been identified. The Boulder County Coroner said he is 28-year-old Matthew Liu. Police said Liu was hauling 7,000 lbs. pounds of rock and stone close when the road underneath him gave way and his truck rolled down an embankment into reservoir waters. Dive teams later found the truck and Liu’s body in waters 43 ft. feep. It’s unclear why Liu was driving the truck after midnight Saturday when the crash occurred.
