Bat in Larimer County tests positive for rabies

A bat in Larimer County tests positive for rabies for the first time this year. The Larimer County Department of Public Health and Environment says there’s no evidence the bat came into contact with humans, but it did interact with two dogs on the 3100 block of North Shields Street Friday. Health officials said the dogs were up to date on their rabies vaccinations and received boosters after their exposure.
