Man Cuffed In Greeley Found With Drugs And A Weapon

A stash of drugs and a loaded handgun were found on a man cuffed in Greeley.   Police arrested 42-year-old Derrick Valentine just after 7 p.m. April 30 after he had fled earlier in the day when they tried to pull over the vehicle he was driving,  reports the Greeley Tribune.  Police say they were conducting routine surveillance on a known “drug house” in the 1700 block of Eighth Avenue.  They saw a man — later identified as Valentine — leave the address and tried to pull him over.  That lead to the pursuit that resulted in his eventual arrest.

Affidavit: Man who fled Greeley police twice in same day found with drugs, loaded handgun
