Organizers have announced plans to commission a sculpture to remember an elk that died recently in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Kahuna Memorial Project Steering Committee working to raise $150,000 for the memorial to the well-known bull elk Kahuna. The elk died in March after a long life as one of Rocky Mountain National Park’s most notable elk.
