Greeley, Kersey Receiving EPA Grants

The EPA is sending grants in the amount of $1.6 million to Greeley and Kersey to help with environmental assessment, cleanup and redevelopment.  According to the Greeley Tribune,  Greeley will receive $500,000 to assess several properties, and the town of Kersey will receive $1,132,889 to clean up and redevelop the former Union Pacific Railroad Grain Elevator property.   The investments are part of the EPA’s Brownfields Multipurpose, Assessment and Cleanup Grant programs.
