Man Cuffed After Allegedly Firing Gun Into Neighbor’s Home

A 49-year-old man  accused of firing a shot into a house in Weld County is facing a felony charge for illegal discharge of a firearm.  Agustin Rivera-Vargas was cuffed late last month after reportedly shooting into a neighbor’s home while aiming at a tree.   The Greeley Tribune reports when police arrived to the 2100 block of Weld County Road 4 on March 31st, they found a number of people at the scene but supposedly Rivera-Vargas was the only one shooting.   Police say while responding to the call, an officer heard gunfire at such a rapid rate, it would be  uncontrollable to anyone without a high level of training.
