Greeley City Council To Consider Uptown Rezoning

As the fate of the Cascadia and Catalyst developments await city and court action after voters derailed their city-approved zoning, another development on Greeley’s western edge has taken a large step forward. According to the Greeley Tribune, a proposal to rezone a 291-acre tract for the proposed Uptown multiuse project won approval Tuesday from the city’s Planning Commission and now awaits a final nod from the City Council.  The development, which could include residential, retail and light-industrial uses as well as a park, would be located on the southeast corner of U.S. 34 and Weld County Road 17.
