Greeley City Council OK’s Zoning, Annex Plan

Roughly 60 acres along the Poudre River Trail in northwest Greeley are now protected from development, and will continue to be a place where the turkeys roam and the bikers traverse untouched portions of nature. According to the Greeley Tribune,  Greeley City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved annexing and zoning 56.66 acres, called the West Lowell annexation, mostly undeveloped land south of F Street between the Rover Run dog park and 59th Avenue. The zoning for the property is holding agriculture for one portion and conservation district for the other.
