CSU President Outlines Planned Cuts

Cuts that President Amy Parsons warned of earlier in the semester to address a $55 million shortfall won’t impact all departments equally, and the number of Colorado State University employees directly impacted by layoffs will be fewer than 1% of the total, Parsons and Chief Financial Officer Brandon Hanlon said in an April 13 budget update.  The Coloradoan reports,  Hanlon said the university’s budget for the 2026-27 school year is coming into focus as the state’s budget begins to make its way through the Colorado General Assembly.
