CSU Football Player Sentenced In Assault

It’s probation and work release for a Colorado State University football player found guilty of assaulting another student last year. According to the Coloradoan,  in February, a jury found 22 year old Avery Morrow,   guilty of third-degree assault for assaulting another CSU student who hit Morrow’s parked car as he rolled by it on his longboard near the Stadium Apartments by Canvas Stadium on Jan. 17, 2023.  His initial charges were boosted from a misdemeanor to a felony, but the jury found him guilty of the lesser misdemeanor assault charge instead.
