UNC employee tests positive for novel coronavirus

A University of Northern Colorado employee has tested positive for the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19. The employee has not been on campus in over a week. The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment said they are notifying anyone who’s been in close contact with the employee. This is UNC’s first confirmed case.
