At a special meeting next week, the Loveland City Council will review findings from Christopher Gregory, the attorney appointed to look into allegations that Dana Foley, Pat McFall, Steve Olson, Andrea Samson and three former councilors violated Colorado open meeting law and, thus, the city charter during deliberations over the Centerra South urban renewal plan. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the alleged violations occurred in April 2023 when Foley, McFall, Olson, Samson and former councilors Don Overcash, Richard Ball and John Fogle signed one of two letters in opposition to a Colorado Senate Bill 23-273, an amendment to state urban renewal law that would have potentially derailed the $1 billion Centerra South project.
