Grant To Create Incident Command Center In Local School District

A  half million dollar grant will support the creation of an incident response command center in Greeley-Evans School District 6 to enhance security and crisis response.   District 6 was among 68 grant applications out of 120 selected to receive funding through the School Security Disbursement Grant Program.  The Greeley Tribune reports the grant for District 6, which will become available in May, will be used to build an incident response command center at the Administration Building, 1025 9th Ave., in downtown Greeley. Funding will pay for technology equipment and software, infrastructure, furniture, crisis response equipment and training.
