DIA losing 2,000 parking spots through summer

Parking at Denver International Airport is about to get a lot harder. Airport officials said they’re shuttering 2,000 parking spaces Monday for repairs and improvements to the East Economy Lot. Another 2,000 spots will remain open on the north side of the parking lot. Once those spots are full, travelers are encouraged to use the East and West garages, the West Economy lot, and the Pikes Peak shuttle lot at 61st and Peña Station. The entire East Economy Lot is expected to reopen in October.
