Coronavirus shuts down Fort Collins courthouse

Due to public health concerns related to COVID-19 the 8th Judicial District courthouse in Fort Collins is scaling back its operations. An order issued Friday states the courts can no longer function normally and will be operating on a very limited basis, putting a halt to much of the court’s day-to-day business in an effort to limit the spread of the virus, according to reporterherald.com. Only essential proceedings will continue. All appearances, trials, hearings and other proceedings scheduled through May 15 will be rescheduled.
