Classes canceled at Loveland HS amid ‘safety threat’ Wednesday

Classes at Loveland High School were canceled Wednesday following a threat that wound up not being credible. The Thompson School District says a Safe2Tell tip sent Wednesday morning suggested some kind of “safety threat” on the high school’s campus. Loveland police responded to the scene just after 8 a.m., and their investigation revealed nothing suspicious. Deputies said a similar threat was reported at Lucile Erwin Middle hours later, but it was also investigated and deemed not credible.
