City Attorney Suspended In Loveland

At  Loveland City Council’s Tuesday meeting,  opposing factions called for special prosecutors to investigate potential violations of the city charter and before the meeting ended, City Attorney Moses Garcia was suspended with pay until his final day on April 2, for what Councilor Jon Mallo said was his role in helping the minority faction during their motion.  The motion to suspend Garcia with pay was effective immediately, and passed with a 5 to 4 vote. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports Deputy City Attorney Vince Junglas served during the rest of the meeting.
