No one injured in hours long police standoff in Greeley

GREELEY, Colo. – No one was injured in an hours long police standoff in Greeley Wednesday. According to a news release from the Greeley Police Department, four people were held hostage, including two children, for nearly 8 hours during the incident that began when Greeley police responded to a restraining order violation and found an armed man had barricaded himself in the home on Aspen Avenue. All the victims were released unharmed, the release stated. The investigation is ongoing.
