A Weld County Jail inmate and known gang member faces assault charges. The greeleytribune reports, Arthur Lee Scott, 28, who police have arrested multiple times since he was acquitted of a 2018 gang related homicide, is now accused of beating a fellow inmate nearly to death earlier this month (Jan. 9), according to an arrest affidavit. Scott faces a second-degree assault charge for the incident. He has a disposition hearing in seven cases, including this one, scheduled for March 30 in Weld District Court.
