There’s a national shortage right now of the shingles vaccine and its affecting patients here. The company behind the vaccine, called Shingrix, has placed order limits on it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says health systems are also seeing shipping delays, which are expected to continue. UCHealth told the Denver Post they’re dealing with the shortage and encouraging patients to call around to see what doctors offices have it.
