Naming the new school will top talks at this week’s Thompson school board meeting. On Wednesday the Thompson School District Board of Education will discuss revised school fees and the proposed name for a new 125,000-square-foot pre-K through eighth grade school that will be built in the Thompson River Ranch subdivision in Johnstown over the next year, according to reporterherald. The school board also will consider a revised policy for student sports fees, which will then be up for a vote on Feb. 5.
