A new sheriff is being sworn in in Larimer County. John Feyen will take the oath of office Tuesday, taking over for longtime Sheriff Justin Smith who was first elected in 2010. Smith was term-limited and unable to run for the office again. Feyen most recently served as asssistant chief for Fort Collins police and previously worked at the sheriff’s office for nearly two decades.
