Hundreds of people gathered in Fort Collins Monday to participate in Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrations. It was a day of service to honor Dr. King starting at CSU’s student Center, where toiletries, socks and diapers were put in bags to be given to the city’s homeless. Organizers said the celebration was for anyone facing race, social, economic and gender inequities, the coloradoan reports.
