Building height issues to rest with Timnath Town Council

Timnath residents won’t have a say in how tall buildings can be in town. The Greeley Tribune reports town council unanimously passed a resolution denying a ballot initiative that would have put any development proposals that included buildings of 60 feet or higher to a public vote. Instead, these decisions will remain decided by the council. The ballot initiative proposal was organized by a group of citizens called Guide Our Growth Timnath, who are opposed to parts of a plan for an outdoor recreation and golf entertainment center along I-25 in Thornton.
