Rams Announce Homecoming Date and Game Themes
Colorado State will open the 2025 home schedule on Sept. 6
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State will once again host seven home games in Canvas Stadium for the second consecutive season. The home schedule will kick off on Saturday, September 6, when Colorado State celebrates Ag Day featuring the iconic Nutrien Ag Day BBQ. Opening weekend festivities also include the Colorado State Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend celebration.
”We have seven opportunities for Ram Country to unify behind our football team and Coach Norvell in the fall,” said Director of Athletics John Weber. “There is no better place to be than a packed Canvas Stadium, especially with the unique themes our university has established. We also have the incredible opportunity to celebrate the many people who make Colorado State world-class. Our preparations are well underway, and we continue to work relentlessly to ensure the fan experience is also world-class.”
The Ag Day and Orange Out celebration on September 6 against Northern Colorado honors Colorado State’s rich agricultural sciences tradition and expertise, as well as the critical local, regional, and global impact of CSU’s extension and engagement activities. Future Pac-12 opponent Washington State visits Canvas Stadium on September 27, when CSU will celebrate the great Centennial State featuring unique uniforms modeled after the state flag.
The game against Hawai’i on Oct. 18 has been designated as Homecoming & Family Weekend, with a bevy of events happening on campus leading up to the game, including the Distinguished Alumni Awards, Festival on the Oval, Friday Night Lights and more. Bookmark homecoming.colostate.edu to keep up with events, details, and weekend schedules as they become available.
“The fall season and everything that comes with it is such a special time on campus for our green and gold community,” said Kristi Bohlender, Executive Director of the Colorado State University Alumni Association.” We’re excited to welcome alumni and Rams fans back again for Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025. It doesn’t get much better than seeing generations of Rams on campus – some for the first time in decades – reliving memories of time spent here and rediscovering their alma mater with friends and family.”
