Man Found Competent To Stand Trial In Attempted Murder Case

A judge has found Robert Johnson, the Florida man accused of attempted murder following an incident in Berthoud at the beginning of this year, competent to proceed and is expected to stand trial early next year. However, if he goes through with that January trial, he would be doing so without a lawyer. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the 20 year old  was found competent  following an evaluation completed at the end of October.  A judge scheduled Johnson to stand for a four-day trial starting Jan. 14 to comply with his speedy trial rights.
