Loveland Postmaster Says Ship Early For Holidays

Loveland Postmaster Chad Daniel is  urging residents to ship early so packages get where they’re supposed to be, when they’re supposed to be there.   The Loveland Reporter Herald reports the shipping deadline for the contiguous United States with ground service or first class mail is Dec. 18, but there is some leeway if customers choose to send packages through the priority mail service with a deadline of Dec. 19 or priority mail express with a deadline of Dec. 21.  Those shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can send through ground service by Dec. 16, first class mail service by Dec. 18, priority mail by Dec. 19 and priority mail express by Dec. 20.
