A shelter in place order issued in Evans Wednesday was resolved. While specifics on the incident are few at this point, police said the order was issued for a 1/2 mile radius in the area of Monterey and Anchor Drive for a heavy police presence out of an abundance of caution. Evans Police, on their Facebook page, reported the situation had been resolved as of just before 8pm Wednesday night.
