A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 2pm, December 12th for the new Severance ;police station. The Greeley Tribune reports the ribbon cutting will be followed by a tour of the new facility. The new 4,000 square-foot station — at 209 1st St. — began construction in April and was slated to cost just over $3 million. Town officials said the station was paid for without taking on any debt and was funded in part with a $650,000 grant from the Department of Local Affairs.
