Daniel Alcazar pleaded guilty Thursday to menacing in a road rage incident and was given a deferred sentence of 2.5 years. The 59 year old Loveland resident originally pleaded not guilty in May and a trial was set for this month, but that was vacated ahead of Thursday’s hearing. The Loveland Reporter Herald reports Alcazar was arrested and charged last October after an incident in which he was accused of firing a weapon at a motorcyclist. He was charged with attempted second-degree murder, felony menacing with a real or simulated weapon and a sentence enhancer of violent crime with the use of a weapon.
